One message. Everything your team needs.
Name, a masked phone number, email, practice area, the booked time, where the lead came from and the page they were on. A Claim button so one person owns it. An Open in Clio button when Clio is connected. Urgent leads tag the user group you choose.
Before you start
- Log in to Enquirly in this browser.
- Decide which channel should receive new leads. Create one such as #new-leads if you like.
1. Add to Slack
Press the button. Slack shows you what Enquirly is asking to do.
2. Allow the permissions
Choose your workspace at the top right of Slack's screen, then press Allow. Slack sends you back to your Connections page in Enquirly.
3. Pick a channel
Choose the channel from the list. If you like, also choose a user group, such as @intake, to be tagged on urgent leads. Then save.
Enquirly can post in any public channel straight away. For a private channel, open it in Slack and invite Enquirly first.
4. Done
The next lead that comes in is posted in that channel. If you chose a user group, it is tagged when a lead is urgent.
What each permission is for
| Slack asks to | Why Enquirly needs it |
|---|---|
| Send messages | To post the new-lead message. |
| Send messages to public channels it is not a member of | So you do not have to invite Enquirly to a public channel. |
| View basic information about public and private channels | Only to show you the list of channels to pick from. Enquirly never reads messages. |
| View user groups | To list your user groups, handle and name only, so you can pick one to tag on urgent leads. Enquirly mentions that group in the lead message when a lead is urgent. |
| View the name, email domain and icon of the workspace | To show the connected workspace's name, icon and slack.com address on your Connections page, so you can check you connected the right one. Enquirly does not use the email domain. |
What Enquirly keeps
The workspace identifier, the channel you chose, the user group you chose (if any) and a sealed access key. Enquirly never reads messages in your workspace, never uses Slack data to train any AI model, and never rents, sells or shares it. The full details are in the privacy policy.
Disconnect or remove
Press Disconnect on your Connections page in Enquirly, or remove the app from your Slack workspace's app settings. Either way, the access key, the workspace identifier and the chosen channels and groups are deleted immediately. Messages already posted in your Slack stay yours.
